Welcome to the world of creativity and originality. This is the story Nathalee, who, spontaneously decided to make a drastic career move and put her creative talents to work for the artistic community. Her sudden passion with becoming an exceptional makeup-artist pushed her to pursue training in the field. Very quickly, she landed several internships and, while working with industry giants, she learned to master the art of makeup and disguises: Body painting, aging, television, theater, photography, fashion. Crossing local barriers, she became a member of Trucco’s international artistic team in Los Angeles and attended countless conferences throughout North America. Her combined 11 years of experience in the field, her vibrant personality and her endless creative energies, have allowed her to distinguish herself within the artistic world. She masters her art and continues to inspire through her talents and her PASSION.
Nathalee redefines her makeup skills following private classes from Yves LeBlanc, one of Cirque du Soleil’s talented makeup artists. While working for Make Up For Ever with Dany Sanz in Paris, she sharpened her “airbrush” techniques as well as her special effects and plaster modeling skills (used when creating latex prosthesis). Nathalee is always searching for a challenge and never hesitates to jump into the unknown, experimenting and expanding her horizons with every new style. She also trained in hairstyling, more specifically as it relates to theater and epoch models. She trained with none other than Réjean Forget, who was nominated for an EMMY AWARD in cinematographic hairstyling. Today, she works as a professional makeup artist and hairstylist. Her professional accomplishments have allowed her to build a solid portfolio, featuring some of the biggest names in the art world both nationally and internationally. It’s not surprising then, that her work is highly sought after and she has become the artist of choice of magazines (under the TVA Publications and Quebecor World). Also, almost every major Quebec designer desperately wants Nathalee to head the makeup team responsible for their fashion show events. Academically, Nathalee was a teacher and trainer at a makeup institute.
