Yves LeBlanc, a proud Acadian and a well established hairstyle and beautician , received a diploma from the prestigious school École Chauveau in Paris as a Make-up Artist. Alway very passionate when he speaks about his craft, he declares: << The art of Make-up is a way for me to accentuate the beauty of the human spirit by finding the right harmony between shapes, shadows and light while enhancing the vibrant colors.>> Since 1983 Yves has acquired a reputation for being a very approachable talented Make-up Artist. As a professor of the Art of Make-up specializing in face morphology or as a Make-up Artist creator for Cirque du Soleil, Yves is also very active in publicity, photography, stage, television and motion pictures.
In 1989, he received First Prize of the prestigious << Avant-garde>> IBS show held in New York City. Through his body painting and his unique creativity, Yves has left an indelible impression on all special events he was involved in. Numerous artists, superstars and models have experienced his talented brush: Shania Twain, Guy Laliberté, Ginette Reno, Rowan Atkinson, Sonia Benezra, Chantal Lacroix, Mitsou, Sylvie Fréchette, Mika Hakkinen, Roseanne Barr, Sarah Brightman, to name a few. Yves collaborated with many designers such as François Barbeau, Dominique Lemieux and Michel Vaudrin. He also participated in the creation of Make-up in events such as DRALION, < Let's not forget that Yves worked with well known photographers such as Daniel Paulin, Michel Cloutier and Jac Mat,Monique Richard as well as Master Hairstylists, Daniel Benoit and Mario Huot for instance. His services as a Make-up Artist were retained for television advertising, photographs and promotion for the following companies: Kryolan, Make-Up for Ever, Lise Watier, L`Oreal, F-1 Montreal, Molson Indy Toronto and Montreal, Just For Laughs, Toyota, Tag Mclaren Mercedes, SAQ, Air Canada, Canada Post, National Bank, Arctic Power and Kellogg`s. As a freelance Make-up Artist, Yves worked for many television networks including; TQS, TVA, SRC, Music Plus and many more independent productions. He worked in numerous films adaptations such as The Art of War, Les Tisserands du pouvoir, Caraibe and others. For 20 years Yves LeBlanc has never wavered from his professional approach to his career.
